Technology defeats me!

I am in the process of figuring out how to get my photos from my phone to stream onto my ipad.  If anyone knows how to do that...please help!  I have "invited" myself via email to view my photo stream on my phone, and it shows that I accepted the invitation, but I still can not see any of the pictures on my ipad.  ARGH!
