Each year, the Bentonville School District does "One Book, One District". Everyone in the district is given the same book, with a reading schedule, and families are encouraged to read the book, aloud, together. Each morning, the kids are given a quiz on what was supposed to have been read with their families the night before. We have participated the last 2 years, and have loved the books, and the time spent reading together. I wish we would make time to continue reading books together every night...maybe that can be a family goal this year.
This picture was taken while Nick was reading to us, and Brody was sitting, listening intently. I can't wait for this year's book!
