A couple of weeks ago, we took the kids to Apple Fest, and I had bought 100 tickets for them to share. They spent time playing on the playground, playing each game and winning prizes, going through the bouncy house obstacle course, and buying food, candy, and snow cones. At the very end, they only had 3 tickets left, and it cost 3 tickets to get their hair spray painted. They thought since Apple Fest was ending in a few minutes, they would see if they could negotiate a 2 for 1 deal, and the sweet teenagers running the booth let both of them get their hair spray painted for the price of 1. Smart kids, and what a fun night! Apple Fest is one of our favorite days during the school year.
