Brody is Potty Trained!

Wow! I can't believe I haven't posted that yet! Brody has been potty trained since the end of March. I mean, TOTALLY potty trained! He stays dry at night, (most nights without even a diaper)! He is such a big kid now! He gets himself dressed, goes to the potty without even telling us anymore, and is such a good brother to his baby sister.

Brody talks like such a little man. He no longer speaks in baby talk, and it is almost too easy to carry on a conversation with him. Sometimes, though, he will try to sound insightful, and it makes me laugh! He will say things like "Mom, when you do do something." Oh really?! Haha! Or my favorite "When I tell you I want more...I want more." He is so serious when he says these things too. They make sense to him, and make me smile, so I hope he keeps on with the "Brody-isms"!

Peyton is walking!

It's official! Peyton started walking on May 26th, 2009. Nick and I were at the after hours clinic because Nick was really sick for almost a week with a sinus infection. While we were there, Peyton stood up, and we told her to walk to us, and she took a couple of steps. Of course, as with all babies, she plopped right down on her bottom afterwards, but started clapping at her accomplishment.

I am so proud of my little girl. She may be tiny (only in the 1st percentile), but she is a trooper! She rarely cries when she gets hurt, is determined to get what she wants, and doesn't let things get her down too often. I feel like she is the opposite of how I was when I was younger. I was somewhat of a cry baby, and got my feelings hurt easily. Peyton, however, seems to let her brother's picking on her roll off her shoulder. She has a great sense of humor and loves to play! Here's to you Pey-Pey!

Guilty as charged!

I have been a horrible blogger lately! Who would have thought that with me not taking the job (I will get to that in my catch up blog) that I wouldn't have time to blog. These kids run me all day and all night, and I hardley have time to blog anymore...but I really am going to try to start scheduling it in!

*On a side note, I wouldn't give anything in the world for the kids to NOT run me all day and all night. I LOVE IT!

I will attempt to catch up this afternoon. I have some cute stories and cute pictures to share, that I know many of my readers are dying to see!
