Beckett's MRI

Beckett's MRI took place on April 30, 2012 at Arkansas Children's Hospital. It was actually a very quick procedure, once they got started. The hardest part was making him fast. He could not have anything to eat or drink after midnight. I kept him up until 11:30, and gave him a bottle then, and put him down. We woke him up, right before we had to leave to the hotel at 5:30, and just loaded him in the car seat and left. We got to the hospital around 5:45, and he was checked in by 6:00. The MRI itself didn't start until after 7:00. By that time, he was getting hungry and fussy. I was very nervous about having him put under general anthestesia, but he was given a blessing ahead of time, and I felt very comforted by that. They found no abnormalities in his MRI, so that was such a relief!

"Fear Not Illness...This Place of Care, Love, and Hope is For You."  I loved this sign, as you walk into ACH.  So much comfort and peace it brings.
