We have a bread drawer in our house, and since Brody was about 10 months old, he has known where the bread is located, and how to get to it. The other morning, he woke up REALLY early, and walked into the kitchen to the bread drawer. He pulled out the hamburger buns and looked at me and said "Bread? Eat?" I thought..."Why not? It is 6:00 a.m. afterall!" It's so funny the simple things in life that please children. I made Brody cinnamon toast this morning for a Sunday treat, and he wouldn't touch it. He probably would have rather had a hamburger bun with ketchup! :)

He is such a ham!!
How funny! I love it, he has the cutes smiles!!
So great to hear from you. I look forward to hearing more about your cute family!
In a low cupboard put dishes he can use (plates and cups.)
When he is preschool age you can setup breakfast for him the night before. Such as: pour cereal in a bowl for him and put a cup of milk in the fridge for him to pour on his cereal.
He will feel like a big boy when he can get up, open the fridge, and pour milk on his cereal all by him self. This will also give you some extra time in the morning for yourself.
