Blast from the Past...Waterpark Hotel

Last April, when the Kansas City, MO Temple was open to the public for their open house, Nick and I took the kids on an overnight adventure.  We stayed in a waterpark hotel, ate at the Cheesecake Factory, and spent several hours shopping and playing, after we toured the Temple.

The kids loved this hotel!  At first, Brody was told he was not tall enough for the waterslide, but after much begging and pleading (afterall, the 3 story waterslide was the reason we had chosen this hotel), the lifeguard let him go on it.  The conditions were, he had to be able to swim (check), he could not wear floaties (no problem), and he had to go by himself (again, no problem).  Brody must have gone down this slide 30 times that day!

I don't know where my pictures of Peyton are...but, she did have a blast.
