R.I.P. Lance

On December 16, 2011, with Beckett in tow, I was rear ended in Fayetteville.  Luckily, nobody was hurt.  It was a 4 car pile up, and I suffered whip lash and some scratches to our bumper, but nothing more serious.

Three weeks later, on February 3, 2012, I was rear ended again, and sandwhiched between the car that hit me, and the car in front of me. My whip lash was intensified, and this time my car was totaled. 

Because the car accidents happened so close together, I have had to hire a lawyer to work out the details of the settlement with the insurance companies.  We have bought a new (old) car.  It is a 1999 Acural RL, and other than some power steering issues (which have been resolved), the Acura has been a GREAT car. 

Lance, the Lancer, will be forever missed.

Blast From the Past- Bestie and Baby

I love these pictures of Angie and Emily with Beckett.  You can really feel how much they love him, from the looks on their faces.  I remember Angie talking about how sweet they are when they are so fresh from Heaven.  You can tell she is thinking that in this picture.  A year later, Beckett loves his Auntie Angie and the rest of the Chase clan.

Blast From the Past- Cute Beckett Birth Pictures

I found these sweet pictures of our sweet little Beckett, right after he was born.  He was/is such a beautiful little boy, both inside and out.  I remember thinking how different he looked from the other 2 when he was born, and how big he was.  I can't believe he is almost a year old.

 

St. Patrick's Day Recap

The St. Patrick's Day Leprachaun visted our house this year.  He painted the kid's faces, and went potty in our potty.  Silly little Leprachaun!  ;)

Baby Bunnies

We found these cute little bunnies in our backyard last spring. Their mama had made them a nest, by our fence. Their mama had abandoned them, so, we hand fed them and took care of them for a few days. Until, one day, we went outside, and the bunnies were gone. We are hoping they were strong enough to go out on their own. At least, that's what we like to think, rather than the alternative.

I'm playing blog catch up--which means my posts will not be in chronoligcal order.  At this point, I am not going for perfection, rather, I am just going to focus on recording as much of our family's history as I can remember.
